I wasn’t able to hear the beginning but I did hear the last 40 mins or so.
Maybe I can catch the beginning this evening.
Great interview, Jim!
These are some of the things you said which I liked:
How you talked about Jesus saying (Matt 10:42) “if you give someone a cup of cold water you won’t lose your reward” – we have enough water but we have an attention shortage so let’s give people attention – Christians can do that.
Where you said “we think it’s good just to spend time with people. Go ahead and hang out with smokers – even if you feel your life is in danger. Give it to the LORD and do it for a few minutes!”
LOL
And this part: let’s study Jesus’ normal conversations, since normal conversations is what we have too.
And your wrap-up which went something like: “Christians really care about people and it’s sad when we take them out of the game. People repeat what they feel good about. You don’t repeat what you don’t feel good about unless you’re being threatened, made to feel guilty or someone is paying you. What we do (to evangelize) needs to be doable, human, fun and repeatable. I hope more people notice their neighbors today.”

Mike, I found out that we’ll be able to make the broadcast available here.
Mark Halvorsen, the host of the interview, has kindly said he will give us a copy of it. Once he does, we’ll make it available here.
