    Hi, Jim, Hemant, & Helen,
I’ve just finished listening to (only) the second half of the interview. Both Jim and Hemant did a wonderful job! (I almost forgot about Hemant’s voice, nice to hear your voice again. And Jim’s too :-) )
I didn’t know until I clicked to the radio site that it is a radio station in Winnipeg, Manitoba! I was there from 1982 to 1985 studying in University of Manitoba!! What was even funnier is that right after your interview is a live program of the Franklin Graham evangelical convention thing. I had just received an e-mail from one of the Winnipeg’s Church’s friend asking us to pray for this big event!
I had missed the 1st half but from what I’ve listened, I have a feeling that the host was feeling a little uneasy with Jim’s perspective. What do you think?
But I really liked the conclusion part where both Hemant and Jim stressed that a friendly dialogue is what connects people and break away all the offensive and defensive walls! And Jim’s theme of God likes people came out nice and strong! Good work!

Yes, Helen, I’ve read your response. Thank you.
Yes, I understand about the time limit thing on a live broadcast. (It’s such a challenge to the host!) When I asked about whether you (or anyone) felt that the host was uneasy with Jim’s perspective, I did not meant the host cutting Jim off. I could be wrong for I only listened to the second half. I meant the questions the host asked and the tone he asked them. (i.e. when Jim talked about how he felt about traditional way of evangelizing, the host immediately asked, “what do you mean by evangelizing”) Maybe he should asked that question to clarify for his audience. Anyways, either way, Jim and Hemant did a good job and I think the message did get out which is that friendly dialogue unites people with differences!

Esther, I thought the host was simply trying to clarify for the audience when he asked Jim what Jim meant by evangelism. But, I could be wrong…
