Pregnant Pause
I was as the grocery store and noticed the sales clerk was about 7 months pregnant and she looks soooooo young! She looked tired but remained helpful and nice. I’ve thought of her several times during the week since then, and prayed that she and her baby will be well.

Pity is merely feeling sorry for someone.
Compassion is the ability to somehow place yourself in their circumstance. Prayer is compassion.

I pray you will get to see her again soon! The beauty of ordinary attempts is that it seems to make people matter to us who we previously never even noticed. They just seem to stick in our head and heart in a way we can’t fully explain. I think it’s because we connect with them and what God is doing in them somehow through this practice of paying attention.
Way to notice…and pray!
