Yikes! Being a safe person does seem to require a certain, uh...tact, I suppose. We try to encourage people to say "wow" and "that's interesting" a lot when listening to others so that our own initial response doesn't hijack the conversation (we hear some really startling things sometimes when we're willing to listen!). Being a safe person does seem to require a certain, uh…tact, I suppose.
