I'll admit to being a little 'star struck'. Especially around Mrs. Pippert. But more importantly I felt the wind of change blowing (something like the Holy Spirit, in my experience). Not obnoxiously in your face kind of wind, but the more subtle, gentle, powerful kind of wind that brings people together. Very refreshing, exciting and yes...mind blowing. Thanks Geneva. I totally know what you mean about the after effects of conferences. I just finished taking Todd Hunter's Evangelism class at George Fox last semester and have to agree with you "that the face of evangelism is changing." That sounds a lot like the sub-title of my final project for Todd's class, "What's the Difference: The Changing Face of Evangelism in Emerging Culture." The seminar was funny, casual, and to the point. Everytime I hear it I feel more and more relief from previous evangelistic expectations and more excited about listening, noticing, and praying (cause I can actually do it).
