2008 is turning out to be a big year for Doable Evangelism. I checked in with Randy and Jim to find out the latest news.
Randy, what’s Doable Evangelism been up to in recent months? What’s coming up later this year?
We’ve been pretty busy presenting (and preparing for upcoming) DE Seminars, plus a few workshops at the Conversational Evangelism Conferences. We’ll be doing the day-long Seminar in Richmond, VA in August, Baltimore, MD in September, and Tuscaloosa, AL in October. I grew up in a small town where nearly everyone knew everyone else. The kids that I went to school with were mostly the same kids throughout my entire twelve years, and because of that, we knew each other pretty well. Time passes, and twenty-five years later, I am looking at these familiar faces and personalities and I think I know them, but I had a sudden realization this weekend that I really don’t. They are familiar and yet incredibly unfamiliar. They aren’t the kids that I grew up with and neither am I the kid that they grew up with.
